Clobberswap: How a Yorkshire community created an upmarket friendly Vinted – and hosted their first fashion show in aid of CoppaFeel

Vintage, pre-loved an,d handmade clothes have been stars of the show this month as a group of real women take the catwalk to raise money for charity. 

Camille Johnson the powerhouse behind Clobberswap, a preloved clothes-swapping community, joined forces with Victoria Reddington, founder of Barnsley Fashion Week and co-founder of Content Magazine, to create the Love Fashion.

The event was in aid of CoppaFeel, the Breast Cancer awareness charity, and raised ,more than £1000.

West Yorkshire worked wanders at the beautiful Darrington Golf Club near Pontefract.

The evening showcased preloved and handmade designers such as Blonde and Wise, Halo Millinery, and Vintage enthusiast Ali Cat Vintage promoting handmade vintage clothes with a retro disco vibe.

Sustainable pre-loved fashion business Clobber Swap Ltd styled REAL WOMEN – wonderful members of their community group on Facebook who are all shapes and sizes.

Talented female vocalist, LeAnne Gonzalez sang a wide variety of music including uplifting hits from the 70s to 00s with a modern vocal twist alongside DJ Amie B in their first live duet together, Global guest speaker Nicky Pattinson proving that it really is, GREATER LATER- and Sophie Mei Lan hosted the show which included JoJo Kelly from Capital FM who modelled in her epic flamboyant style.
